Amy's Home

Amy's Home

Never have I ever left a photo shoot and wished I could run home real quick to pack up and move into that house.
Until last night😍
Amy’s home was a, wipe a tear off my cheek, hand on my chest, remind myself to take breaths type of home.
Many of you know that I’ve started a journey of moving towards a warmer, cozier, more colonial sort of look and after seeing Amy’s home I was even more motivated.
The soft color in the rugs scattered all over the house and the vintage wallpaper perfectly complimented the fabric in the furniture.
Amy had made the decision years ago to use the house for exactly what she needed it for and not necessarily what it was designed for.
Her decision to use the formal dining room for her piano room where she teaches lessons, was sheer genius.
The delightfully cozy window nook that she uses for a sewing area was impossibly pleasant.
The little built in bookshelves where she had carefully placed the perfect pieces for her dollhouse made me gasp in delight when I saw it.
The pale blue trim accenting the floral wallpaper in the bedroom…somebody pinch me.
I am definitely spending this January hanging wallpaper and painting trim after being so inspired last night.
I could keep going but I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Enjoy and a huge thank you to Amy for letting me feature her home this week♥️
