I will be honest and tell you that there is always a bit of apprehension that comes when I go into the home of a person I’ve yet to meet but @jacki.moseley relieved that nervous feeling instantly.
Her home was such a peaceful and pleasant place 😍
Not only was she a delightful person to meet but I absolutely could’ve spent hours walking through her home and admiring her treasures and collections.
Almost everything she owns is from her grandparents.
Tiny treasures that each had memories or stories attached.
Colorful collections of local matchbooks, Dr Seuss books, vintage packages, and memorabilia from her grandfather’s business.
My most favorite story was of her orange chairs that she found in her grandparent’s storage room and after she put them to beautiful use in her living room, she found an old photograph of them in her grandparent’s home decades before♥️
I wandered and gazed and my eyes continued to find precious things that I hadn’t seen yet, but at the same time nothing at all was cluttered.
Everything cleanly, freshly, and perfectly displayed on tables, in shadow boxes, in old phone nooks and old cupboards.
Not being a professional photographer, I always worry that I won’t have enough good pictures of whatever home I photograph, but Jacki’s home will be the first time I have to add extra pics to stories because I couldn’t choose my ten favorites.
Scroll through these pictures and the ones in my stories and leave your comment below telling her which picture is your favorite👇🏻💕
Also a huge thank you to her sweet boy Norman who definitely did some posing for this feature.😍
