This is my first home to lead off with a picture of the exterior but if you are a local to Springfield then this picture will make you squirm in your seat with excitement.
This amazing old beauty was built in 1905 and sits back off the busy street so that even though she’s smack in the middle of town, you get the feeling that she is pleasantly situated in the country.
I have told my husband that this is the only home in Springfield that could ever tempt me to leave my own sweet bungalow.
Penny doesn’t post much about her beautiful home because she is busy starting up her own new business @pattern_and_pickle and is an incredibly talented artist.
But friends let me tell you, this home is stunning😍
Walking up the sidewalk and onto the massive, wrap-around porch makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time a hundred years.
Inside each room is exquisitely decorated with carefully chosen pieces of furniture, stunning light fixtures, Penny’s own art, and other unimaginably cool pieces that make her home eclectic and delightful.
This week I was joined by Ashley from @biggerthanthethreeofus who virtually introduced me to Penny and suggested I feature her home.
Ashley has been encouraging me to start taking videos of the homes I tour for those of you who love transitions.
Be watching my stories today for my first attempt at video!
Flip through these photos and tell me what you think of the dining room light fixture, the breakfast nook wallpapered in happy monkeys, and her sweet little pooch who joined the line-up of pets who pose perfectly for pictures.
Also the next several homes I’m hoping to tour will not be ready until the end of summer so I need some suggestions from you!
Dm me with some ideas for new features you’d like to see or even your own home!🏡
